Danny Schwartz is a fantasy illustrator living in Westfield, New Jersey who specializes in whimsical, colorful acrylic paintings. His work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, books, games, television shows and galleries across the United States since he graduated from Syracuse in 2010. After all that, though, he decided to go back to the beginning -- aka spending hours and hours looking at and loving art on Magic Cards, and he has been happily illustrating regularly for Magic since 2022. He has over 30 cards in print with many more on the horizon.

His favorite card he's ever made is Bloom Tender from Lorwyn: Eclipsed, but he acknowledges that frogs a la Into the Flood Maw are a central part of his personal brand. He has never met a warm to cool color gradient he didn't like.
