Susan Shorter is a traditional fantasy artist, and prolific Children’s Book Illustrator. Susan has worked consistently in the publishing industry since 2007, and during that time she has illustrated over 500 books as well as writing and illustrating two of her own, Incredible Pebbles, and It's a Muddy World.

Through her career, she has been involved with a variety of projects from being the sketch artist for The Dead Files on the Travel Channel, and designing the new female-centric logo for Civilian Brewing Corps, to being published in Infected By Art vol 4 and vol 9, releasing her first fantasy coloring book, and had her work projected on the sides of the buildings in downtown Indianapolis for GENCON.

Susan is currently a member of ASFA, the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists, and is a frequent exhibitor in the convention and gallery circuit.
