Overview:
The Main Show is a juried, traditional media exhibition, featuring over 90 artists showing their work across 18,000 square feet and three floors of the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts.
The Main Show is the heart of the IX experience. Artists are selected from submissions each year by a rotating panel of judges – in the past, our judges have been drawn from the Brandywine, Allentown, and Delaware museums, Sotheby’s London, Beautiful Bizarre. Fine Art Connoisseur and Juxtapoz magazines, as well as major galleries, ateliers, and realist art organizations.
These artists set up and display their work at the show for a full five days, hanging in galleries covering 18,000 square feet on three floors of the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts. Artist space sizes vary, ranging from 8 linear feet to over 20 linear feet, with an average size of around 13 linear feet. Many artists choose to sketch or paint at their spaces during the show, adding impromptu demonstrations to the gallery floors.

2026 Main Show Artists
With over 90 artists selected for the Main Show, the amount of artwork on display – and for sale – each year is immense. In the past, individual artwork sales have ranged from under $100 to over $20,000, presenting work for every taste and every budget.
The 2026 Main Show artists will be listed here once the jurying is complete in December 2025!

“I’ve shown my art at every single IX since it started in 2008. It’s a gathering I look forward to every year, a chance to get together with fellow artists and collectors. What started as a small group of fantasy art loving friends has bloomed into the largest curated show of fantasy art in the world.”
JULIE BELL
IX Main Show Artist
“The arts are one of the most intensely competitive professions that exist, and yet I have found the community that surrounds IX to be amongst the most genuinely supportive and generous groups out there. It is always the highlight of my year, both professionally and personally, and I consider it to be an essential experience for any artist working in the imaginative realism field.”
