Currently 22 years old, May's first book cover was published by kOZMIC Press in September 2021 for The Mad King by Rebekah Mabry. At age 19, she has been recognized as a Finalist by the 16th Art Renewal Center Salon in the professional tiers of Imaginative Realism and Portraiture. At age 20, May has been recognized as one of the winners of the Illustrators of the Future contest. In December 2024, May opened an art school in Princeton NJ where she teaches oil painting to students of all ages. May works in both traditional oil paint as well as digital mediums.

In addition to painting, she recently graduated from Rutgers University with degrees in Cognitive Science, Russian literature, and history.
