Jamie Mahood is a Texas-based black-and-grey portrait tattoo artist with over twenty years of experience. After a lifetime of reading fantasy, science fiction, and comics, she recently decided to try her hand at oil painting and has been focused on learning it for the past few months.

Her current work is inspired by classic sword-and-sorcery and sci-fi art from the 1970s and 80s, and bringing to life characters from books she loves. Painting has been a treat to dive into and attempt to learn.
