Bryon Wackwitz is a prolific artist with a career spanning over three decades. As one of the first 49 artists for Magic: The Gathering, Bryon helped define the visual identity of the groundbreaking trading card game. His portfolio includes work for countless other tabletop and card games, including Legends of the Five Rings, Dungeons & Dragons, Ars Magica, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Shadowfist, Rage, Jihad, and Doomtown: The Trading Card Game, where he served as Art Director from 1997 to 1999. He is also a contributing artist to Sorcery: Contested Realm and remains a vital figure in the fantasy genre.
Beyond gaming, Bryon’s art has crossed into other creative industries, particularly in music and fashion. His work has been featured in music videos and collaborations with high-profile artists such as Usher, Missy Elliott, Ciara, Busta Rhymes, Alicia Keys, and Universal Music Group. Bryon’s contributions extend to iconic brands like Lot 29, Triple 5 Soul, G-Unit, Farside, Diplomats, and Rockefeller Records, showcasing his distinctive airbrush and hip-hop-inspired style.

Recognized by Cornbread, the godfather of graffiti, Bryon has been celebrated for his contributions to the graffiti art movement. For 24 years, he owned and operated an airbrush and art shop on South Street in Philadelphia, cementing his reputation as a cornerstone of the local and national art community.
