ANTHONY PALUMBO was born in Michigan in 1980, and from childhood was fixated on science fiction, comic books, and making art. After studying traditional painting technique at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, he began showing paintings in galleries in 2002, with an emphasis on figurative work and realism.

In 2008, he began illustrating for Wizards of the Coast—which officially marked the beginning of his career as a science fiction and fantasy artist. Since then, he's continued to do freelance illustration work for Wizards of the Coast and other clients, as well as concept art and illustration for various video game studios.
